EIGHT CIRCULAR

Dear Colleagues

The XV International Congress of Acarology 2018 (XV ICA 2018) at the spectacular Mediterranean beachside Swandor Hotels and Resort Topkapı Palace in Antalya, Turkey from 2-8 September is now just a few days away.

Key points to note:

  1. The congress program has been finalised. Please go to http://www.acarology.org/ica/ica2018/index.html  and then‘Scientific Programme’ to see it.
  2. Poster presentations will be on Tuesday, 4 Sept. and Thursday 6 Sept.
  3. For the congress presentation guidelines please go to http://www.acarology.org/ica/ica2018/presentation_guidelines.html
  4. Prizes will be presented for the three most outstanding student oral (3 x 500 euros) and poster (3 x 250 euros) presentations selected by the Scientific Committee.
  5. The book of abstracts will be available at the registration desk.
  6. Proceedings of the congress will be published by Acarological Studies, a peer reviewed, open access online journal with no publication fees. Manuscripts, which should be prepared according to the instructions on the Acaralogical Studies website (http://dergipark.gov.tr/acarolstud), will be accepted until 30 November, 2018. It is expected that the accepted manuscripts will be published in June, 2019.
  7. Student participants must bring their current student identification to the congress registration desk when they register.
  8. If you want to join the post-congress tour, please contact the congress organisers directly at kongre@bilkonturizm.com.tr for your tour booking and an extra night at the congress hotel.
